    Our mission is to build the power of Latina/o and working class communities to achieve dignity and justice through organizing, transformative edcuation, policy innovations and the provision of survival services.

    About Us

    Make the Road New York (MRNY) is a not-for-profit, grassroots organization serving low-income New Yorkers across the five broroughs of New York City and Long Island. We have a strong track record of successful, accessible, and culturally competent education and advocacy programs. Every year, we draw throusands of individuals annually to our storefront community centers in the immigrant-rich communities of Bushwick, Brooklyn; Jackson Heights, Queens; Port Richmond, Staten Island and Brentwood, Long Island. MRNY is the largest participatory immigrant organization in New York State with more than 10,000 members, 75 percent of whom are women.
