    Santa Fe Film Institute is committed to the advancement of independent film, filmmaking, support of the local community, and underserved youth. The main project of the Santa Fe Film Institute(SFFI) is the Santa Fe International Film Festival(SFiFF). To highlight the importance of supporting the arts, creativity, and culture, SFiFF showcases the city’s forward-thinking artistic vision and celebrates cinematic and media excellence, setting a national standard.

    About Us

    Santa Fe Film Institute benefits its community by presenting the largest and most dynamic film festival in New Mexico, the Academy Award(r)-qualifying Santa Fe International Film Festival (SFiFF). SFiFF screens more than 150 films each October and supports local youth, artists, filmmakers, and those seldom served by the arts. SFiFF provides educational and professional development in film, including SFiFF Student Day, and by hosting interactive workshops, industry networking events, discussion panels, and filmmaker Q&As, as well as free public programming.
