PlantPals transform lives by creating inter-generational relationships with volunteers and underserved seniors living in long term care. We plant seeds for connection, empowerment, and a better quality of life, through direct creative arts programming, education, advocacy, and research
Our goals:
- To enhance the quality of life of underserved seniors living in long term care facilities by bringing them evidence based creative arts based interactive experiences.
- To create a culture change in attitudes towards the aging population and raise awareness of the benefits of intergenerational connection through advocacy and volunteerism.
- To support at risk youth and enhance addiction recovery programs, through community service, creative engagement, and connection with elders.
