Asian Human Services

  • Mission

Since Asian Human Services began helping South East Asian refugees more than 33 years ago, the organization has retained a single purpose: to positively transform lives among Chicago’s immigrants, refugees, and other underserved communities.

    About Us

AHS began modestly in 1978 to serve the influx of refugees from Southeast Asia in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood. Asian Human Services has grown into one of the region’s largest and most comprehensive immigrant-centered organization, serving approximately 28,000 people from 55 countries in FY 2013. AHS serves thousands of at-risk clients from many different countries each year through multiple programs in over 25 languages.

Our outreach efforts range from Workforce Development, to Medical Care, we have a Charter School, Tutoring and so much more!

Please consider helping us help others. You have the ability to better lives.
