About Us

Washington Campus Compact is a statewide coalition of college and university presidents who have united to further the civic purposes of higher education by creating academic and co-curricular service opportunities for students to develop the skills and habits of citizenship; encouraging the engagement of faculty in community-based scholarship that addresses societal concerns; and fostering the development of collaborative partnerships among campuses, and with communities.

University of Washington Bothell (UWB) and Cascadia Community College (CCC) are co-located on a 125-acre campus in the city of Bothell (approximately 18 miles northeast of Seattle). The Retention Project is a collaboration with staff and faculty at both Univeristy of Washington Bothell and Cascadia Community College to foster retention of students who are first generation in their family to attend college, and to advocate for support in successfully bridging students from high school to college.
