Forest Preserve Foundation

  • About Us

Our mission is to support the protection and restoration of native habitats within the Forest Preserves of Cook County and work to connect all residents, especially youth, with this great natural resource.
The Foundation, which is its own 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, works to raise funds to enable the developing and launching of programs that are otherwise beyond the capacity of tax dollars. By developing partnerships with individual donors, foundations and corporations, we protect native biological diversity, build public awareness and enhance outdoor experiences for present and future generations of Cook County residents.
