By coordinating unique therapeutic programs with classroom activities and wilderness experiences, we are able to help young people develop trust, build self-esteem and become receptive to the intensive psychiatric treatment they receive.

Our programs work. For many of our clients, Youth Villages at Inner Harbour is their last resort, yet after discharge, most of our patients are either back in school or gainfully employed, as evidenced by our ongoing surveys.

Youth Villages at Inner Harbour's residential treatment center provides much more than conventional treatment. It immerses young people in ground-breaking experiential, activity-based therapies that are offered in a natural setting. These therapies are designed to stimulate learning through a series of activities that progressively challenge a person's social, emotional, mental, and physical resources. Inner Harbour provides an ideal setting for its pioneering programs.

Youth Villages at Inner Harbour is the only residential treatment center in Georgia offering educational services which are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools for over twenty-five years, the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations, and the Association of Experiential Education.
