Appointed and empowered directly by the courts, CASA advocates for a child’s best interest by providing critical information to judges about the child’s needs and well-being to help the judge make the most well-informed decision. We do this important work through a network of caring and committed volunteers, who are assigned a child's case to advocate for their best interests throughout the duration of their foster care experience.
CASA is so grateful for those who join us in being a voice for a child. CASA Volunteers form special bonds with the children they advocate for, often being one of the only constants in a child’s life amidst the ever-changing world of foster care.
CASA Volunteers are an essential piece to ensuring children have the best possible outcomes-- kids assigned a CASA are half as likely to re-enter the foster care system-- and we are proud of the work our volunteers do each and every day!
