AGBU GENERATION NEXT MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
MISSION STATEMENT
AGBU Generation Next Mentorship Program (GenNext) creates community by bringing youth and adults together in relationships where the adults act as guides through the perilous journey of adolescence.
GenNext serves Southern California youth of Armenian descent with academic, behavioral or acculturation challenges by matching them with mentors, who provide the guidance and support and serve as positive role models.
Through these relationships with well-prepared, caring, adult volunteer mentors, youth increase their self-confidence, cultural awareness and career orientation along their journey to becoming strong leaders and positive contributing members of the community.
