About Us
The Arc of Dutchess, based in the scenic Hudson Valley of New York State, is a nonprofit organization providing services and supports to approximately 1000 people with developmental disabilities and their families since 1971. The Board of Directors and the 500 employees of The Arc of Dutchess respect and support what matters to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and promote their right to achieve full inclusion and participation in their community. We respect the value and uniqueness of all people and support their right to pursue the life they imagine. We are responsive to the people we support and the public, and committed to the ethical and responsible use of resources to advance our mission.
