  • About Us

The YWCA Aurora is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, fredom and dignity for all.

The YWCA Aurora was organized in 1893 as a voluntary membership organization that was established as a fellowship for women and girls from all economic, racial, occupational, religious, cultural and age groups.

The current YWCA Aurora collaborates with other agencies and institutions to promote positive social change and to provide women and girls with leadership skills necessary to achieve greater personal power and economic success.
