  • About Us

Since 1892, the YWCA of Binghamton and Broome County has been central to our community's landscape and was established as a safety zone for women during the industrialization of the Southern Tier. Today, the YWCA of Binghamton is home to several unique programs aimed at improving the quality of life for all citizens, including racial justice practices, residential programs, access to free cancer screeenings for low-income women, and access to quality early childhood services.

The YWCA is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all.
