MOSHOLU-MONTEFIORE COMMUNITY CENTER INC

  • Mission

The mission of MMCC is to improve the lives of Bronx and Manhattan residents with our dedication to humanitarian efforts; reaching out to a rich tapestry of cultures, building gateways to success through quality service and programs, building confidence, sustainability, and working toward self-sufficiency for the individuals we serve.

    About Us

Our story begins in 1942 when a few MMCC programs were run from a storefront on Gun Hill Road, basements on Wayne Avenue, and rented rooms in a local school. In 1958, the main building was built and the programs were expanded to meet the needs of the community annually serving 35,000 Bronx and Manhattan individuals and families of all ages.
