About Us
OpenDoor-Columbus is committed to working with women in recovery from addiction. We are licensed users of the Open Table model which has been implemented for 16 years across the country and has shown that human connectedness is successful in changing lives. A group of 6-8 volunteers from an array of community sectors come together to invest their time and social capital to women with complex needs. Volunteers commit one hour per week for one year to engage in a meaningful relationship with their friend while providing new solutions to daunting social challenges.
