Afghan Coalition

  • Mission

The Afghan Coalition's mission is to empower the Afghan American community by promoting unity, building cultural awareness, strengthening families, and developing youth leadership.

    About Us

Afghan Coalition programs improve the health and well-being of members of the San Francisco Bay Area Afghan community and increase their ability to become self-sufficient contributing members of society by: 1. Improving the leadership skills, self-esteem, and cultural identity of Afghan youth. 2. Increasing access to public and private services and resources. 3. Improving the ability of women and girls to deal with critical family issues, access health services, support their children in school, and escape situations in which there is domestic abuse. 4. Building a sense of community ownership and pride, and creating an interchange between Afghans and the greater community through intercultural events.
