Youthquake’s mission is to bridge the partisan divide in Chicago through a community-wide effort that empowers young people to create and implement bipartisan policy plans on community issues. Youthquake is a civic engagement program that creates a respectful space for dialogue and action on important and politically controversial topics. This program seeks to not only bring students together to communicate across their differences but also to move forward in this collaboration through civic and political action.
Youthquake serves middle and high school students in Illinois and in New Hampshire by partnering with school districts, teachers, and community-based organizations.
