    Formed in 1967, Greater Jamaica Development Corporation is one of the nation’s first community development corporations. Since then, GJDC has become a model for economic transformation. GJDC encourages responsible private and public investment in Jamaica, Queens to enhance the quality of life for the residents and workers of Jamaica. We pride ourselves on our local focus, data-driven approach, high-impact programs and cross-sector collaborations-all leading to the revitalization of our storied community.
