  • Mission

CASA's are specially trained volunteer citizens appointed by the Judge to be an independent, objective voice for an abused or neglected child in foster care. CASA's insure that a child is placed in a safe, stable, permanent home as soon as possible. CASA's advocate for the best interests of the child.

    About Us

CASA's are legally mandated and become a party to the case, once appointed. CASA's have four primary roles; 1)to investigate the circumstances of the child; 2)to advocate for appropriate services for the child; 3)to monitor the progress of the case and report to the court; and 4)to facilitate communication between agencies working with the child. CASA's are committed to remaining the stable person in a child's life until the Court has closed the dependency case.
