To encourage and enable participants of every ability level to reach their full potential in a nurturing, fully inclusive environment and to promote and encourage community participation all aspects through a vibrant, working horse facility.
About Us
Monterey Bay Horsemanship & Therapeutic Center (MBHTC) is a fully-inclusive recreational program that provides socialization, independence, vocational skill developmentl and community integration of individuals with disabilities through therapeutic riding and associated opportunities at a beautiful working ranch facility.The program is fully integrated, creating a symbiotic community, located at a beautiful working horse ranch.
The target population of MBHTC is an ethnically diverse group of children and adults from all socio-economic backgrounds with disabilities including physical, mental, cognitive and communicative disorders.
