  • Mission

To enhance the well-being of America's veterans, their families, our military, and our communities by our devotion to mutual helpfulness.

    About Us

The American Legion Post 199 has been in the West Palm Beach community for over 76 years in the same building. We have made strides from starting boy scouts' groups to today we send young men to Boys State, in Tallahassee for week to get a glimpse of how our government works. We have a place where veterans can meet and have comradery. Our immediate goals 1. Increase membership, we have a older population of veterans, we must increase our membership with a younger veteran and continue to encourage volunteerism, 2. Increase the number of days and the number of clients we serve through our "Kitchen Kindness Program, Feeding the Hungry. Presently, we serve 60 meals on Monday afternoon to the neighborhood hungry. Post 199 offers a Food distribution twice a month.
