Alaska Pacific University - Spring Creek Farm

  • About Us

Alaska Pacific University is located in Anchorage, Alaska. It houses both undergraduate and graduate programs and is committed to an active/experiential learning model. Located in beautiful Palmer, AK, APU's 750-acre Kellogg Campus houses a Masters in Outdoor and Environmental Education program and Spring Creek Farm. The Farm is currently run as a small organic CSA and is being developed as an educational farm for the benefit of local children and community members. As an educational farm, we will offer a child's garden, day-long farm-based programing for local public and home school children, and week-long summer camp programming on agriculture, food, and health and nutrition. We will also develop interpretive signage on site for community members, specific workshops on ecological/organic agriculture, and outreach materials on nutrition and organic farming.
