Mission
The mission of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul St Anthony of Padua Conference is to provide community assistance to:
encourage the spiritual growth of its members, volunteers, the people they serve and benefactors
encourage fellowship while serving those in need
provide an opportunity for others to serve those in need.
Inspired by Gospel values, the Society offers person-to-person service to the needy and suffering regardless of race, origin, religion or gender.
About Us
In its 180th year, the Society of St Vincent de Paul is the largest lay Catholic charitable organization in the world. Founded in 1833 by French college student Frederic Ozanam, the Society today has more than 750,000 members operating in 146 countries. A 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization, the St Vincent de Paul Society operates thrift stores and food pantries as well as conducts personal visits to the homes of the poor. We assist people in Casa Grande, Arizona City, Stanfield and Maricopa with basic needs such as food, clothing, hygiene, household goods, blankets, diapers and formula without prejudice regardless of religion, race, political orientation, gender or age.
