    Kitega Community Centre is a registered Non-Governmental organisation in Uganda/Charity Number S.5194/5188. Established in 2000, the centre has implemented programs to improve the standards of living for disabled and orphaned children and their families.

    Kitega Community Centre is a christian founded organisation but serves all people, regardless of religious affiliations or non-affiliation.

    Freedom, self-determination, and justice for poor, marginalized and underserved communities.

    Aims:

    To meet the community's basic needs, including food, shelter and clean water

    To provide education and training for all, including girls and women, orphans, and children and adults with disabilities

    To increase the community's access to low-cost health services and to reduce childhood and maternal diseases and deaths

    To promote sustainable development by improving agricultural production and providing credit to support self-employment initiatives, micro-enterprises and non-agricultural work

    To facilitate the flow of knowledge, strategic information and resources for the benefit of all community members

    To advocate on behalf of marginalized and underserved communities

    To build a global network to create permanent change
