The mission of ELE PTA (and all PTAs) is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.
The Elizabeth Lane Elementary School Parent Teacher Association is a volunteer-based, non-profit organization whose purpose is to create a vibrant school community by supporting our teachers, staff, students, and families. The goals of our local PTA chapter are guided by the overall mission of the National PTA and North Carolina PTA (NCPTA), which is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. Our local chapter supports our teachers and administrators, and advocates for our children through communication, parent and teacher involvement, cultural programs, family and community events, and fundraising activities.
ELE PTA has an active and dedicated group of volunteers who support this mission, with several volunteers serving as elected officers and committee coordinators. Any parent/guardian, grandparent, or community member is welcome to join ELE PTA. Memberships can be purchased on the View Store tab. We encourage you to join our PTA and to actively participate in our programs, events, and committees.
