Kentucky Dachshund Rescue, Inc, established in 2005 has provided care for thousands of dogs who were in a crisis situation. Based in central Kentucky, it serves the entire state of Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, parts of Tennessee and W. Va. Facebook followers of 25K provide the needed support effort to place photos and acquire homes for the many dogs in need. Our goal continues to be based on respect for all, compassion for those in need, and a standard of ethics to treat each pet and individual with respect. We offer a Foster Training Program, Transport assistance, Vetting to all our pets, Fundraising events and a donor base for all those who share our mission.
