In 1923, leaders in central Alabama were UNITED by the simple idea that members of a community can come together, pool their resources and work collectively to deal with community issues in a WAYthat is more powerful than any one individual or entity alone. Today, we are still a volunteer led non profit organization that leads, supports, and participates in collective, inclusive community efforts that build capacity and mobilizes resources to improve lives and create positive, long term social change in our five-county service area.
