MARVILEE
Mission
Empower youth by providing opportunities to develop life skills, grow from mentorships, and learn from job trainings in support of mental health and substance abuse. Bridge youth to community resources and collaborate with like-minded organizations to ensure access to our communities robust resources.
About Us
Marvilee was birthed to honor the memory of my son Marvin Lee Sullivan, who was a light to his family, a loving son, and a father who battled with addiction and passed away on June 23, 2020, at the age of 24. Marvin was a great kid who made some adverse choices. Marvilee is for the benefit of any youth, but especially our youth who are lacking life skills or struggling with addictions. The pain of losing a child has me on a mission to support the youth and share with parents my personal experience with losing a child to addiction. Marvilee became a 501(c)(3) non-profit in 2023 and works towards a community and eventually a world without substance abuse.
