    As a Benedictine school rooted in a tradition of community and academic excellence, St. Scholastica Academy educates young women by attending to the development of the whole person through emphasis on critical thinking, moral responsiblity, and lifelong learning.

    St. Scholastica Academy (SSA) is an all girls Benedictine high school in Chicago since 1861. SSA students speak 22 different languages at home, practice 14 different religions and come from both private and public schools in the Chicagoland area. We provide three levels of academics in order to address the academic needs of the students.
