  • About Us

Project CANOE is a non-profit charitable organization that uses wilderness canoe tripping to foster developmental assets and support the personal growth of youth. Our participants, ages 13-18, face economic, social, behavioural, and cultural barriers in their daily lives that would preclude them from being 'successful' in other wilderness canoe tripping programs. Project CANOE operates within anti-oppressive, challenge-by-choice and strength-based frameworks and believes that all youth should be supported to make their own choices in their lives.
