    The Thomas W. Dortch, Jr. Foundation was established in 2005. Our mission is to develop effective leaders from underserved communities that contribute to the revitalization, development and prosperity of their community. The Foundation has developed programs encouraging mentoring, health and wellness, economic empowerment, self sufficiency, and civic engagement. We partner with middle schools, high schools and colleges across the state of Georgia to introduce programs geared towards economic empowerment via financial literacy, investing, and entrepreneurship to schools for students. The TWD Jr. Foundation vision is to identify, establish and support effective programs and activities that support personal growth to lead the future generations.
