Nonprofit
Triangle South Literacy Works, Inc.
Mission
TSLW began in 1985 as a grassroots volunteer organization determined to wipe out adult illiteracy in this area. Now incorporated and established as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, that original mission still drives our staff, members, volunteers, board and even our students at TSLW. Based on the philosophy of adult literacy pioneer, Dr. Frank Laubach, HCL believes in "each one teach one."
About Us
TSLW provides FREE basic adult literacy and English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction by matching trained tutors one-to-one with an adult learner.
