About Us

Launched in 2009, BDPA Triangle Chapter administers the Student Information Technology Education & Scholarship (SITES) program, an intellectually challenging program that builds self-esteem through the mastery of applied computer science. Students in grades 9th through 12th who live in the Triangle area are eligible to participate in the program. The comprehensive program creates a foundation for student academic and career success.Students participating in the SITES program learn dynamic skills such as: Web-based applications; HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, PHP; Business and Problem Analysis; Application Concept / Problem - Building Concise E-Commerce Web Applications, Understanding how to approach problem resolution; Use Cases & Flowcharting; Design & building a framework; Multi-tiered environments; Mobile Applications; Database Management and Data Modeling; IT Security, Project Management, Analysis of Business Problems, Solution Design, and much more.At conclusion of the program students are selected to compete in regional and national competitions representing BDPA Triangle Chapter.
