  • Mission

Removing Barriers to Treatment - The mission of the Icla da Silva Foundation is to save the lives of patients whose only cure is a bone marrow transplant by providing financial, emotional, and logistical support to remove barriers to treatment. Our Vision is that every every patient suffering a life-threatening disease like blood cancer or sickle cell will be able to receive a bone marrow transplant without financial insecurity.

    About Us

    A Critical Goal

Provide financial, emotional, and logistical support to patients who are struggling during treatment. Our Icla Cares program awards financial grants specific to bone marrow transplant patients. We help fund expenses that are not covered by insurance, including transportation, meals, and lodging during treatment.

We need your help. As a non-profit organization, we rely on the generosity of our donors and fundraisers. Program continuation is dependent on the availability of funds and the program could be discontinued at any time if funding is limited or no longer available.

Please consider joining our team of volunteers to help grow our program and raise funds so that we can ensure more patients receive life-saving treatment.

*The Icla da Silva Foundation was established in June of 1992, as a nonprofit organization under section 501(c) 3 of the IRS Code.
