About Us

The mission of The Center for Bronx Non-Profits-(CBNP) is to positively impact the quality of life for the members of the Bronx community by strengthening the Bronx nonprofits accross all sectors.

The Center for Bronx Non-Profits (CBNP) is a convening, training, and resource-sharing space, which strengthens the capacity of local community leaders and organizations serving the Bronx. The work of The Center for Bronx Non-Profits is borough-based and community-focused. CBNP programs focus on building technical skills as well as helping leaders identify opportunities, share resources, and address challenges confronting their organizations.

Programing includes:

  • Professional Development in Nonprofit Management
  • Capacity Building and Technical Workshops in Data Evaluation, Microsoft Excel, Board Development
  • Public Conversations
  • Networksing Events for Bronx Nonprofit Executives

The CBNP's initiatives promote interdisciplinary approaches and are adaptable to meet the community needs.

CBNP is housed under the umbrella of Eugenio Maria de Hostos Community College's Division of Continuing Education and Workforce Development of The City University of New York (CUNY).
