Habitat for Humanity Guatemala

Habitat for Humanity Guatemala is an NGO that works with low income families that do not qualify for credit or loans through banks or other traditional lending institutions, and who without Habitat, would not be able to own a simple, adequate home.

Habitat works with families to enable them to build simple, decent, affordable homes with the aid of volunteers.

Habitat has been working in Guatemala since 1979 and has to date built over 82,000 home construction and housing solutions. Every four hours, a poor family in Guatemala begins building their own home with the help of Habitat for Humanity Guatemala.
