RSVP of Allen County Indiana
About Us
RSVP uses the power of older adults to meet the needs of the local and international community. The lives of senior volunteers are enriched by meaningful volunteer opportunities. In 1997 the RSVP volunteers sent 5,400 pounds of warm winter clothes, hygiene products and school supplies to orphanages in Kygyzstan, Central Asia. This program is a joint effort of RSVP, US State Department, UNICEF, Save the Children - Denmark (Red Barnet) and Peace Corps Volunteer in Kyrgyzstan. The 1998 program starts on September 14, 1998.
