  • About Us

Girls on the Run is an after-school program that educates and prepares pre-teen girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living fostered through running. The 10 week, which culminates in participation of a community project and running a 5k race, focuses on building self-esteem and improving emotional, social, mental and physical health. The goal of GOTRSD is that girls complete the program with greater acceptance of themselves, a healthier body image, understanding of what it means to be part of a team and the importance of being a contributing member of the community.
