  • About Us

The Young Inventors Association of America, Inc. (YIAA) has been operating the Young Inventors Showcase (YIS) here in Houston, Texas since 1983. We teach teachers how to teach students (k-12) how to invent. The students then invent, and we run a city-wide competition to pick the best young inventors. We have now gone "virtual" and are running YIS as a global program.
