  • Mission

HomeScreens is a 401c3 non profit dedicated to providing available resources to the houseless community in Los Angeles through individual engagement and nuanced mental health guidance.

    About Us

HomeScreens has been running for about one and a half years now. Our main service is personal engagement in the form of community events. Through these events volunteers are expected to participate in conversations with the kids, adults, or niche communities (LGBTQ+, women and children, trans) presented. Events consist of winter, spring, and back-to-school activities for children in shelters, while adult/young adult events are centered around mental health checks with our partnering psychoanalyst. Although HomeScreens is based in Los Angeles, we have set up different charter programs in other states such as Indiana. As of right now, HomeScreens is getting local granting, but we are looking to receive a federal grant. Volunteers can either be a part of events, or join the the HomeScreens team through the social media, event planning, communications team. HomeScreens is currently developing an app with Naked Developments and has been receiving mentorship from the Health Commissioner of Boston. We would love to have you part of our team!
