About Us
Ag Against Hunger is a facilitator for surplus produce grown in the Salinas and Pajaro Valleys of California's Central Coast. The agency's mission is to alleviate hunger and eliminate agricultural food waste by providing a link between the agricultural community and food assistance organizations. Local growers, shippers, and processors have donated more than 230 million pounds of produce since the program's inception in 1990. Website: www.agagainsthunger.org.
