Explore! Children's Museum

Explore! Children’s Museum of Washington, DC is a private 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to serving children birth through age 10 in the District of Columbia, Virginia and Maryland. We are a start up museum that will be located in the Fort Totten neighborhood in Northeast DC. Our opening will coincide with Art Place, a Morris & Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation project - featuring retail, restaurants, outdoor areas, cultural experiences, and garden spaces.
