The mission of the American Anti-Vivisection Society (AAVS) is to unequivocally oppose and work to end the use of animals in science and to oppose all other forms of cruelty to animals. AAVS works to achieve meaningful, lasting change through education, advocacy and advancement of alternative, non-animal methods.
