People who volunteer live happier, health-ier, longer lives. Volunteering can give your life new meaning and purpose, and help you build skills and form new friend-ships. At the same time, you contribute to your community with every hour that you give.
At Mills-Peninsula Medical Center (MPMC), our volunteers offer warm and friendly service to patients and visitors so that their experience is as easy and pleas-ant as possible.
Volunteers provide support to our medical communities in both San Mateo and Burlingame. They greet patients and visitors, answer questions, give directions, transport patients, and assist staff. They also work in our gift shops. The revenue generated by the gift shops provides funds for healthcare scholarships and medical equipment for MPMC.
