Friends of the High School for Environmental Studies, NYC

The Friends of the High School for Environmental Studies supports the High School for Environmental Studies with the human, financial, and in-kind resources, necessary to support the school’s efforts to use experiential learning activities and innovative environmental curricula to achieve improved academic performance and stimulate career choices for its multi-ethnic urban student body. The Friends’ activities engage students and faculty in environmental work that enhances their academic program with career exploration and community service.
