About Us
At Texans Care for Children, we know each child brings promise for our state, yet Texas has a long way to go toward meeting that promise. For over 25 years, we have worked to improve the lives of Texas children by building commitment and action for improved public policy and programs.
We do this work focusing on five promises to Texas' future: health, protection, mental wellbeing, justice, and early opportunities. In each of these areas, we seek out what's best for the over 6 million children of Texas.
