Oakland Families for Quality Schools

Oakland Families for Quality Schools (OFQS) is a newly created California nonprofit public benefit organization. It was launched to meet two important needs in Oakland public education: 1) to provide a strong and local public voice for families and staff in the city’s public charter schools; and 2) to coordinate activities that would increase quality and equity within the charter sector. OFQS is funded by grants from Educate78 and the Rogers Family Foundation.
