Rahab’s Sisters builds community through radical hospitality with women, trans, and gender-queer folks marginalized by poverty, houselessness, sex work, violence, and substance use. Founded in 2003, we believe community is a basic human need essential to well-being, and that everyone deserves to feel they belong somewhere. Radical hospitality strives to break down barriers of fear, shame and judgment and create a healing space where individuals feel valued and find solidarity with one another.
Our staff and team are energetic and community minded folks who seek to share humanity with one another. Our community is made up of volunteers, Guests, program partners, and staff, each equally important in all spaces, sharing with and learning from one another. Rahab’s Sisters is a vibrant and unique organization that provides radical acceptance, with a primary focus on creating community with women, trans, non-binary, and gender-queer folks.
