    Big Brothers Big Sisters of Harrisonburg-Rockingham County creates and supports one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of young people. As an affiliate of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America-the nation’s largest and most experienced youth mentoring network-we match youth with caring , adult mentors in professionally guided relationships that help them dream bigger. Through our evidence-based approach, we ensure measurable positive outcomes, including greater confidence, academic progress, avoidance of risky behaviors, and healthier relationships. Founded locally in 1976 as an outreach of Trinity Presbyterian Church, our agency is one of the largest in Virginia, serving 134 youth in 2024.
