    Founded in 1964, Garrison Art Center promotes the creation, exhibition and enjoyment of art in the lower Hudson Valley town of Garrison, and its surrounding communities. The center consists of two galleries in which artists of every level from student to highly recognized artists have exhibited, four studios including a print shop, pottery studio, painting/drawing room, and sculpture studio, along with adminstrative offices, a tree-shaded patio, and the Hudson River as our "backyard". Our students range from as young as 5 to 95, including some of the original founding members who still attend our weekly life drawing sessions. Three major fundraising events include our Riverside Art Auction, our Fine Arts and Craft Fair, and our Holiday Pottery Sale.
