NYDHEE

NYDHEE (Network for Youth Development and Healthy Environment) is a non-profit organization based in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, founded and led by Prasant Muduli. With over two decades of grassroots experience, Prasant and his team focus on empowering rural communities, especially women, youth, and marginalized groups, through a range of livelihood, health, and social equity initiatives.

NYDHEE’s work includes projects like the SOCCS program, which transforms the lives of rural women by equipping them with skills in livestock management, financial literacy, and health awareness. Additionally, the organization has ongoing partnerships with prominent institutions like the Azim Premji Foundation and Asia Initiatives, collaborating on projects aimed at enhancing the livelihoods of women farmers, supporting migrant households, and improving rural economic resilience.

NYDHEE is also actively involved in providing emergency support, as seen in recent relief efforts for flood-affected families in Odisha’s Balasore District. Through its projects, NYDHEE aims to create sustainable change, foster community resilience, and promote gender equity in development.
